Add “influencer” to Karoline Leavitt’s resumé.
The former White House press secretary took to Instagram earlier right now to chat straight with her 3.1 million followers in a informal “Ask Me Anything” format, dishing on everything from romantic recommendation to being a lady in an age-gap relationship to President Trump’s true character.
“I am traveling all day so I have some time on my hands…ask away!” Leavitt, who will be a part of Fox News as an on-air contributor on November 1, wrote in a submit. She answered the asks with a combine of brief written and video responses.

The first write-in was from a clear fan who had “always looked up to” Leavitt, sharing that they were a present college pupil learning public relations and politics. The follower requested Leavitt, who made historical past as the youngest-ever White House press secretary, if she had any recommendation.
“My advice to people who want to get into politics or comms is to get real-world experience when you’re in college,” Leavitt said, explaining that while she discovered classroom instruction beneficial, she felt the office is “where you’re really going to learn the game.”
Leavitt also pointed to her own wide range of faculty jobs, including interning at NBC Sports Boston, working at her native information station and finally snagging her career-shaping internship at the Office of Presidential Correspondence during Trump’s first time period.
The former press secretary — who stepped down in late August to spend more time with her two younger kids — went on to reply more private questions.
What does she do in her free time?
“I don’t have [it],” she quipped.
Will she ever submit a “Get Ready With Me” make-up routine?
“Yes I will do this, people have been asking!”
Can we expect to see her as a voter in her native New Hampshire?
“Of course!…It’s the chance to make your voices heard.”

But the actual tea came when Leavitt dished about the President after someone requested, “Is Trump nice/kind?”
“Yes! He’s the best boss,” Leavitt gushed, posting her reply across a picture with the Commander in Chief, in which he flashes a huge thumbs-up.
“People don’t see this side of him because the media doesn’t show it, but he has been nothing but kind and uplifting to me, even since departing,” she continued. “He’s also hilarious. Love him!”
When it comes to age-gap relationships, Leavitt instructed followers, “Follow your heart.” Karoline Leavitt / Instagram
Leavitt went on to advise “girls in age-gap relationships” — Leavitt’s own husband, Nicholas Riccio, is 32 years her senior.
“Forget the haters and follow your heart!” Leavitt suggested her followers, sharing a image with her real-estate developer partner, whom she met in 2022 during her New Hampshire congressional marketing campaign. (She lost the basic election to Chris Pappas.)
They had their first baby in 2024 and married in 2025. “He’s the absolute best husband and dad in the world. Everyone gets why we are together when they actually meet him and see us together.”
Leavitt then answered a few more enjoyable questions, like why she hides her kids’s faces in photographs (“I wish I didn’t feel the need to do this because my kids are so dang cute… I feel it’s the right thing to do to protect their innocence,” the mother of two said) and spilling on her favourite clothes manufacturers (“Ralph Lauren, Veronica Beard… And who doesn’t love a good TJ Maxx?!”).

She completed her Instagram story by addressing why she left her beloved gig at the White House press podium if she wasn’t planning on leaving the workforce altogether.
Leavitt kicked off her response with an eye-roll emoji.
“As Press Sec, I was working in the office 60+ hours a week, traveling the world, and always on call 24/7,” Leavitt said.
“Now, I am home with my kids every day and doing some TV hits. These things are not the same, ma’am.”
