Three-time Olympic medalist Chloe Kim went public with her ADHD analysis earlier this month.
Kim spoke completely with the California Post about what life was like before and after being identified, including how her boyfriend, Los Angeles Rams star edge rusher Myles Garrett, initially reacted to the information about her ADHD.

“It’s funny, because he’s definitely the quiet one in the relationship, and I’m the one that can’t shut my mouth to save my life. But in a way, I think at first he was like, ‘Hmm, this girl talks a lot.’ But whenever I’m gone, he’s like, ‘I do miss your voice bouncing off the walls. I do miss hearing you talk about all the random things,’” Kim said.
“I feel like he was so supportive when I got diagnosed. He was like, ‘This actually makes a lot of sense for you. I’m proud of you for doing that, and getting the help,’” she added.

“But I feel like we’re good. Nothing’s changed that much. I think that I’m just able to get the things I need to get done. Sometimes that involves him. I’m like, ‘Okay, you said you wanted these cookies. I’ll go get them for you, and I’m not going to forget, and get hung up on the things that I want, which is cheese,’” Kim said.
“And he doesn’t really like cheese like that. So you can imagine the disappointment in his face when I come back from the store and there are no cookies.”

Garrett and Kim started courting before the Olympian was identified with ADHD, so he knows what life with her was like before and after the analysis.
