John Boyega has confirmed that he indeed quietly tied the knot with ATL actress Lashontae Heckard almost two years in the past. Now, the British bloke is coming clear with another shock — he’s a proud father! On Oct. 13, the Star Wars actor revealed that he and Heckard welcomed a child “some time” in the past.
“Our bundle of joy has been with us for some time now but thank you for all the well wishes. Also my sister is about to pop! Wish her well too!” Boyega, 34, captioned a photograph carousel which kicked off with a image of him sweetly hugging a pregnant Heckard, 48, at what appeared to be a child bathe.
“Back to feeding this big baby!” he added.
The last slide of the Instagram carousel featured a touching video of Boyega holding his new child and gently stroking the child’s head. However, the Star Wars actor selected not to disclose his little one’s title.
Adding to the hypothesis, Heckard’s Instagram bio options the title “Tae Boyega.” She also expressed her pleasure in the feedback part of Boyega’s put up, writing:
The actor’s massive announcement comes just days after he confessed to being a married man during an interview with The Guardian printed on Oct. 4. He defined that the couple had opted for a small ceremony but stopped brief of publicly figuring out his spouse. The Woman King star also revealed he was anticipating a little one, but did not point out a due date for his little one. Well, now we know his child was here all alongside!
Boyega also opened up about the sentimental significance of his marriage ceremony rings, revealing that he owns two bands. One is a two-toned ring that holds deep “sentimental” worth, while the other was acquired at a later time.
